Hello Everyone! Have you had a good weekend? Did anyone go geocaching? (we did!) Did you do a lot of crafting?
I got some fabulous birthday pressies:
My lovely friend Chris (who is also my sister's MIL - confusing, right?) got me some really beautiful FQs and some templates, which I think I'm going to use to make some hexies...Thank you, Chris!!

Then, on Saturday morning, Buzz woke me up with a cup of strong tea, a piece of chocolate birthday cake, and a much anticipated package! It's from my very fabulous bloggy friend Stephanie of Spontaneous Threads, who generously posted me a whole envelope of really beautiful purple scraps and cuts after I said I love purple but never buy it...There is a lot of fabric there and I am so thrilled with it that I still want to shriek a bit when I touch them.
 She also sent me:
2 cuts of the DS fabric that's taking the blogosphere by storm!!! And I must tell you my picture doesn't do them justice - they are freakin adorable and are NOT available in the UK - Thank you, Stephanie!! There will be a nice surprise package coming your way soon!!!

    It looks like your weekend was filled with all good things! I enjoyed a few projects of my own this weekend -- for the first time in a long time! It was nice to get to do a few crafty things and ignore the rest of the world for a while.

    I finished my mug rug in time to post it by May 6...and then realized after I dropped it off at the post office that I forgot to take a picture of it!! I can't believe I did that. I took pictures of some of the mug rugs I made for Mothers' Day, but not of the one I made for the swap! I'll do better next time...

    Glad you had such a wonderful birthday and got loads of lovely fabric, that is a huge stack of the purple fabric! Looking forward to seeing what you make with it all! :) Where did you go for the geo-caching this time? It sounds great, but I've never got round to trying before, do you leave something at the cache?
