Manic Monday Linky Party #5 (and the Mug Rug Bug!)

Ok, I admit being a total blog junkie - I'm always looking at my Google Reader on my mobile. Drives kid and hubby nuts. I see a lot of tutorials, and a lot of really sweet ideas. My latest crush is on Mug Rugs. Tiny little quilts you can use for lots more than mugs - houseplants, place to park your phone/iPod while it charges, or candles, or TV remotes, all kinds of stuff!
To that end, I'd like to do a worldwide Mug Rug Swap. The rules would be that you have to send it out by 6 May (my b-day!) and that's about it. If you're interested, I've made a Mug Rug page with a Linky Party, and you can grab a button from the left sidebar!  You've got ten days to sign up! **If you are in the UK and need a scrap of wadding/batting for your mug rug, let me know as I have a limited amount of scraps from other quilts.
Oh I do hope you join us! And if you have a blog, fb or Twitter, please spread the word! I want as many people involved as possible - life is so tough for so many of us right now, and this spreads a bit of love and goodwill among our fellow crafters. You probably won't have to buy anything as they're about 8" by 10" and scraps are perfect!
