Jennifer's PIF {Quilting Without Obligation Community}

That Girl... That Quilt
Have you guys seen those 'Quilting Without Obligation' badges on people's blogs?
Jennifer of That Girl...That Quilt has drawn up an 'independent quilter's manifesto' about those of us who just love to quilt for quilting's sake.  She really says it best in her post, so I urge you to read it.
She also has a linky party for anyone who would like to declare their love of quilting without obligation.

The other day, she posted about Paying It Forward and was surprised at how many replies she got. I love how generous quilters are to each other - more than any other craft, as far as I can tell.
So she's set up a linky list for anyone who would like to participate.
I really like the idea of Paying It Forward to someone I don't know, and then to two people in real life. I think that I'll be quilting for my friend Ele's baby and my sister Rema's baby, who aren't even born yet, so at least there's no real hurry! :)

So if you are intrigued by the PIF without obligation idea, please go check out her blog.

  1. I love PIF's too, it's nice to be able to make someone smile with something unexpected. I love how the blogging community is sweet and generous and often to people who they generally don't know in real life! Hope you're keeping well and enjoying the weekend! Btw do you know of a good website for finding local geocaches? Thinking of trying it on my week off soon! :) x
