What We've Been Up To Wednesday :) (pic heavy)

Hello!! I have some very...quirky...photos after the quilt. They're from the British Juggling Convention, which Mr. Geek and I attended while Little Savi Geek was in the States visiting her dad.
Also while she was gone, I scrambled and worked my butt off to finish her quilt. I used the Meandering Path recipe by Ellie from Craft Sew Create which was posted on Moda Bake Shop. This was also the first time I used 2" wide binding strips instead of 2.5", and I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!! I actually had to rip part of it out, then make two joins while it was all attached to the quilt, plus it was over a corner, UGH!!! Anyway, here it is:
The whole quilt
Buzz's arty pic of me shaking the quilt out.
Here's the little homemade tag I put on...I really need to sort out some decent tags. Anyone able to design one for me? I'll pay you!
She was pretty surprised, given that I've been working on it since last year!

And now, some really cool pics of the BJC:
I took a pic of this dude right after we arrived on the Friday night - isn't his beard fantastic?
To the right is Buzz, passing clubs with our pals Lizzie and Jae. (Hi Jae, if you're reading this!)
I am not sure what was going through this dude's mind when he dressed Saturday morning - it wasn't particularly hot in Nottingham.  Plus, when he sat down his butt crack showed, although despite all my efforts I couldn't get a pic of it. :(
A club passing competition on the grounds of Nottingham's Castle.
Ye Olde Jerusalem Pub, which is partly inside of that rocky cave - some of the rooms have bare rock for walls!
Buzz took a series of shots of this stunt, but I'll only bore you with the one.  And yes, he made it without falling off the unicycle, although he almost lost his spectacles!
Me and Ele with the ballon sculpture that I kinda helped her to make.  I totally did NOT get what the dude was saying and doing at the balloon workshop we attended, and after busting about 4 ballons I gave up and held stuff for Ele.  As you can see, she totally got it right away. Incidentally, she's an engineer and I'm an English graduate.
This lady was soooo talented.
Yep, that's the Ghostbusters symbol rendered in balloons. No, I did not make it.
This is Guy - he's very, very talented and has many disguises (and beards).
This, too, is Guy. I told you.
This was the hairdryer at the hotel - can't you see it? I must admit drying my hair with it took a long, long time...
This is Simon and Jae, our very good friends. We celebrated Simon's birthday over the weekend, and this is what he wore to the posh Chinese restaurant. And if it's your birthday and the BJC, you get to wear any hat you want.
That's Simon on the right, in his other pimpin' hat. You might think it's crazy, but there were lots of envious looks...
And I know Buzz will be super pissed at me for putting this pic up, but here he is, in the awesome Star Wars T-shirt I got him for Xmas...isn't he cute?
